Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm

An exhibition by Thomas C. Chung exploring loss, childlike wonder and our existence in this digital age

"...It Was Like Seeing A Fallen Rainbow" is a photographic and installation-based exhibition that speaks of how the development of resilience starts at a very young age. Playing with the concept of a fallen ideal, Thomas C. Chung’s immersive installation intersects reality with imagination and challenges the ontology of adulthood. By questioning our existence from childhood to adult life—and essentially that journey from what is a lost paradise—Chung asks “is what we create in our digital world surpassing everything before us?”

Chung’s conceptual practice explores the loss and rediscovery of childlike wonder at being in the universe and stems from a lifelong pursuit of seeing the world through the eyes of a child, and delving deeply into the childlike psyche.
