Australia is one of the most culturally diverse societies in the world, with over 400 languages present including ancient Indigenous languages. The Willoughby Language Festival provides an opportunity to celebrate our diversity and offers a rare chance to ‘road-test’ languages before embarking on studying.
Hear a range of lively and engaging presentations on 15 different languages presented by expert linguistics at the Chatswood Library. Exploring the theme of endangered languages, celebrate language diversity by learning the linguistic and cultural aspects of languages and develop an appreciation that all languages, major and minor are equally important and valuable.
