Sydney Taiwan Festival Taiwan Expedition: Cultural snapshots

The Sydney Taiwan Festival is one of Australia’s largest running cultural events and is the most attended Taiwanese-Australian community event in NSW.

2017 Sydney Taiwan Festival features the beauty of Taiwanese art. Cultural and Art performance troupes, Indigene Dance Group and Taiwanese Hakka bands will bring the traditional beauty to the stage. The interactive sessions and children’s folklore & folk games are also great ways to enjoy the culture. A must do of the event is to immerse yourself into the joy of DIY fun making your own Year of Rooster lanterns.

To complete your authentic Taiwan experience, famous Taiwanese food stalls are inviable. Famous Taiwanese restaurants in Sydney (BAODAO Taiwanese Kitchen, Dumpling Taipei, Cho’s express and more) have prepared their special dishes to make this a remarkable Taiwan experience. Come to enjoy a feast of culture and gain unforgettable night market experiences and performances.
