2025 StreetFair volunteers

The eagerly anticipated StreetFair will return on Saturday 6 September 2025.  This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join in all of the excitement and support a brilliant community event by becoming one of our StreetFair volunteers.  From 10am-6pm our entertainment areas will burst into life with music, dance, performance, food, a huge street parade and more!

This year we need volunteers to help us in the following roles:

  • Stage assistants – ensure stage runs on time, meet groups that arrive, supply music to the sound team, report incidents.
  • Parade group leaders – ensure parade runs smoothly, on time, and ensure pedestrian safety.
  • Site runners – assist all roles depending on need, moving materials around site that could be heavy or on trolleys.
  • Information stall officer – answer enquiries from the public, encourage public to fill out surveys, be first point of contact. Hand out information and Council brochures.
  • StreetFair zone assistants – answer public enquiries, help manage queues at free activities.

We welcome volunteers to sign up for more than one shift. If you're interested in volunteering for the entire day, you're more than welcome to do so—it’s a fantastic opportunity to experience different roles and be fully immersed in StreetFair 2025. Please note that all volunteers must be 15 years of age or older.

An induction meeting will be held prior to the Chatswood StreetFair, which all volunteers are required to attend either in person or online.
